Carry on luggage

I'm off to the UK for the weekend flying from Shannon. Normally when I'm heading away I've a case of some description going with me so that gets checked in. This time though, because I'm only going for 2 days, I'm just bringing my backpack that'll fit in the overhead luggage. I'm just wondering though what the story is with liquid items in carry on these days. I know it used to be something like 125ml. per pack. I've just got some small bottles of aftershave/shampoo and a regular half used tube of toothpaste. No sharp objects or things like that. Am I likely to encounter problems?
