I've a BA in Geoscience, i'm thinking of applying to UCL next year to do a Msc Geophysical Hazards. Would this lead to many job opportunities in Ireland?

In Ireland, the simple answer is No.

There is very limited job prospects for anything related to the Physical Environment in this country apart from Environmental Health/ Waste companies etc. and a few PHD positions.

Best bet is a PHD or the UK.

I don't have too much experience on that exact area but all I know is there are NO job prospects for Meteorology graduates in Ireland at the moment in the industry.

The UK is still going okay and there is quite a few positions available over there if you give it some time.
