Drayton Actuator Valves

    Hi,

Just realised that two of the three drayton actuator valves in my hotpress are just left in place, not actually installed.

One of them has a little black piece of springy plastic on it that is broken...is it possible to get these separately anywhere as a spare part?

Also, the actuator for the cylinder fits onto its horizontal valve easily, but the other two vertical valves seem more difficult to fit for some reason. What is the proper way to install these - should the valve be turned fully clockwise or anticlockwise etc - how to do get valve, actuator spindle, and the 2 little dowels to line up properly?

BTW I am a total plumbing newb so sorry if these are stupid questions...

When you go to fit actuators fit on spindle first then turn to meet dowel when lined up push home.
If the actuators are removed its more than likely they need replacing.

Thanks, but should initial position of valve spindle be fully anticlockwise or clockwise?

Any chance of getting those little black retaining clips instead of having to buy entire actuator head?

look at the bottom of the actuator and turn the spindle on the valve to suit
    I would still think that
you are going to need to replace the actuators they should cost in the region of €50
