2 punctures as I didnt get to see the tiny spike in my tire, as a result late for work first time ever luckily no bosses in, on top of that forgot my change of clothes. 2 punctures so means down €€€€ as tyres need changing now grrr. Anyone else have a bad morning?

Why does your tyres need replacing surely just the tubes?

My spin to work was pretty ok, but I bought a dish cloth instead of a towel.

i used to do that regularly going to the gym. Used to get funny looks but less bulk on the bike as a result!

Do you ever notice the way Chinese rarely use large towels after a shower? Or is that just my inlaws? :pac:

Jaysus, sounds like an unusual relationship with the inlaws there dude . I know I'd feel like bleaching my eyeballs. :pac:

I had a puncture on the M4 ( after it just magically morphed into existence whilst riding up the N4 ) on Sunday. My pump snapped the valve on the spare, leaving me well and truly screwed with 75km to go. Minutes later Mervin from Clonard CC pulls over with a spare tube and track pump, we fix things up, he sticks the bike in the back of the van and drops me off at Kinegad where I find myself availing of a tractors drafting facilities for another 5km. I was thinking, ffs, 20 mins ago I was screwed..and now here I am behind a few bales of hay in the sunshine, effortlessly tootling along at 29kph.

What was really remarkable is that my cycling bad luck is usually followed by more bad luck.

Not really in the habit of watching Chinese people shower...

Let's just say I'm happy to take your word for it?

You live a charmed life if that is your definition of a bad morning. Try commuting in and out of the city by car and see how your level of frustration goes not to mention the effect on your pocket.
