Cabinteely Park attempted mugging

    The "Historical Cabinteely" account on Facebook posted that there was an attempted mugging on a woman walking on her own in Cab park last evening at 7pm. Apparently the Gardai arrested someone at one of the entrances afterward.

    Very unusual. Presumably some chancer or opportunist made a grab for a purse or something.

    My friend was there and saw it. Some teenager ran up and tried to grab the ladies iphone.
