So my iphone fell from quite a height and it ended up in pieces. The screen came apart and when i tried to plug into itunes it would not come up. I brought to a repair shop in my area and they said there were multiple problems with it and they couldnt fix it. I am just wondering if there is somewhere I could get it fixed? do apple offer a service to repair them or is there anyhting else I could do to get it replaced perhaps without having to pay full price? Thank you

I'm afraid not. Apple offer an out of warranty repair but one of the stipulations is that the phone isn't in multiple pieces.

    Hi Scottp,
That is too bad - most of the time in dealing with repair centres they say it is BER because it is too risky to get involved. Sure you can replace the screen and the back and the charging port etc..etc...,but if it has had a fall from a height that has done that much damage then you are also looking at probably damage to the main board - Antenna circuitry, audio, Wi-fi etc..etc..
It is realistically not likely that you could get this done without incurring huge costs.
My suggestion would be to try and buy another broken one on donedeal or ebay and try and cobble together two from one - if you have a backup of the phone on I-tunes then to be honest it would make more sense to buy another one second hand.

Hope this helps - also, there is always a ready market for the broken phones regardless of how bolloxed they are - someone somewhere will give you something for it.
