Dell XPS 15 water damage

I spilt a glass of water on the keyboard of my Dell XPS 15. I mopped it up and left it to dry for four days. Turned it on and it worked fine. Used it for a few hours and turned it off. When I went to use it again, it wouldn't turn on. There is no battery in it and it was plugged in to the mains. It was very hot to the touch which it never is when it's off. I initially thought it was the charger so got a new one but it's the same story. The light on the charger is solid when I plug it in, but when I connect it to the laptop, it flashes. Is there any hope of it working again?
