you'r not guaranteed permanency after the two years, however if you'r given another temp contract and work over the three years they are obligated to give it to you then.

However with things getting a little better financially, and i'm sure the amount of attendants needed will only rise, I'd be fairly certain you'll be ok for work and your permanent contract.

An internship as a multi-task attendant?? In the HSE? I presume this a Jobbridge scam scheme? If there is still an embargo on recruitment in the public service which I think there is, there is no chance of a job no matter what they tell you.

no jobscam, hse giving two year contracts as I presume they are not seen as permanent contracts and thus by pass embargo

I would not bank on this.

Also, how many hours a week is this internship for, and is it paid in any way? If anyone has a link for this, please post it as I would love to see it.

your right, you can't bank on it, but as they are looking long term to off load nursing jobs to attendants and care assistants opportunities are only going to rise.

Hi, I have a question if someone would be kind enough to answer. I went for a job interview 2 weeks ago for general support staff with the hse I.e multi task attendants, porter, carers, cleaners... Wondering anyone already apart of the hse, how long will it take to get notification of interview? Will I get a letter if unsuccessful or will I get call, someone said it could take 3 months before I hear anything? Is this true? I seriously wonder if there are jobs out there?

    Thanks in advance!
