The Laurels Dundrum

Does anyone know what is happening with the laurels apartment complex in dundrum. It was evacuated a couple of years ago due to "priory hall" type fire related concerns.

They were doing work on them for a long time and recently removed the scaffolding. Are they going to reopen to the public soon?

not sure, walked passed it the other day, there was still work being done and a security guy keeping watch. I rented there a few years ago from Lansdowne rentals, one thing I would say is, that the road noise from the bypass in the bedrooms drove me to leave the place...

just spotted this today! cant remember what I paid in 2010 I think it was, but reckon it was E1125 for a 2 bed...

I heard that when refurbished that they are all going back on the rental market. Similar with Wyckham Point. This will increase supply and hopefully put some form of control on the rental prices in D14
