Stocking Rate For Sheep

    have about 2.5 acres of old REPS habitat cleared off, probably a bit wet for the cows, how many sheep would it carry

    Just make sure to properly fence the perimeter first or they'll continuously escape on you. My sheep even sneak out under gate on their belly .
    For the number of sheep your talking about, maybe buy a handful of store lambs and leave them there to fatten up for xmas time. that would give you a taste as to whether or not you like sheep.
