Hi all, I recently signed a re-appointment form for next year in my current school. ASTI said that I could decline this if I take another job elsewhere. Hi all,

I recently signed a re-appointment form for next year in my current school. ASTI said that I could decline this if I take another job elsewhere. Can anyone clarify this for me if they have any knowledge on it?

Also, Ive been offered a job and they want me to sign contract this Friday. I was hoping I would be able to keep looking for a contract elsewhere with more hours, this obviously cant happen now. I presume once you sign a contract your tied down to it??
Any advice/knowledge would be much appreciated!
