    Hey,

Im around a bit next year and I was thinking of contacting societies to offer photography at their events, I do a fair bit of photography and have professional kit.

Is there a way to distribute my contact details to all society auditors at once or is it better to contact the incoming auditors directly ?

    Anyone here in the know?

    Cheers

Your best bet would be to talk to Richard Butler and ask him to mention it, or give you the opportunity to pitch it, during Auditor training.

I'd imagine most societies won't be willing to pay someone to take photos at events as they'll have their own PRO's. If your willing to do it for free then I'd imagine you'll get plenty of interest.

There is already a fairly big pool of photographers that offer their services for free/the odd pint and a bit of exposure to societys so I doubt you will get many willing to pay you. I was PRO of one of the societies this year and we had 2 people who took photos for us as well as me. And ucd also pays their own photographer and cameraman for bigger events. if you want to PM me details I can send your details onto next years PRO's and auditors but as I said unless you are amazing don't expect to make much money off it.
