Guys I'm looking to buy a diagnostic kit to suit Volvo and daf trucks.got a quote from a guy today that wanted 3800 euro + vat and another 650 euro + vat per year to cover licence, warranty and updates. Surely there's better value than this out there.

Truck diagnostics are dear , and not as easily available as are the car ones

You should look for super vcads for the Volvo ($1100) but I can't remember what the daf one is called.

If it's only for code reading you should look for something like autocom with the truck cables add on , costs thousands less.
