Im sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Basically i'm trying to sell a computer on Gumtree, And i got a message from a woman, she was saying that she likes the computer, and she wants to but it, But it isn't for her its for her grandson and she wants me to post it to him.
Another great part to add he is currently living in America.
She said she will pay for all postage costs and also give me the 100€ euro for the computer.

It seem way to dodgy and just why go through all that money for a computer that you could just buy for a hell of lot cheaper in America.

So basically she just want me to send her a request to send her the money request on Paypal so she can put the money into my account and then i take i go to the post office find out how much the pc would actually cost to send and then get the money to post it.

Even if it wasn't a Scam i still wouldn't go though all of the effort to send the pc.

Just curious to what you think and is common scam ?

Exact same thing happened me just a few days ago. Had an as on done deal and guy emails saying his son is in the navy and wants me to send it to him. Just send him the PayPal money order. Just tell then where to go. I don't know what they could do with your PayPal details but I'm sure they have their ways!
