Mathematical Studies

    Can anyone tell me if Mathematical Studies (Arts) is accredited by the Teaching Council. Having asked Teaching Council, I am no wiser

    I'm currently doing mathematical studies and going into my final year in september. The answer is I don't know, with project maths the whole thing is a bit up in the air. I think if you've graduated with your degree now its valid (pre project maths) but for my year we have to have a certain amount of credits in stats and other modules but even at that we aren't sure.

    Thank you. Can you recommend text book/resource to prepare for 1st year Math Studies - years since I did my Leaving.

    I wouldn't know of any books tbh I've never used a book in college to help me. Look up PatrickJMT on youtube, he's a great tutor and my number one resource in college. Tbh the main thing is going to lectures and tutorials and asking questions. There is plenty of help given in UCD like the maths support centre. Don't worry you should be fine going in to it :)
