Imported car bought from a dealer

I recently bought a Golf Car from a dealer in Loughrea, that was a import from England. when my I test drive the car, it seem a lovely car and hence why I bought it. but when I picked up the car, there was a big scrap on the window screen where the wiper had scrap it. which is really annoying in this fine weather. that was def not there when I test drive the car. I had returned to the garage the following day and was told it would be sorted, but the main guy was out of the country for a few days.
More importantly the service history book was missing out of the car. and blue tooth was gone. since that the dealer has got a replacement Bluetooth for the car, which was not a new one. but passed of the windscreen saying it was a deep scratch and wont come off.
he is telling me, he will order a book for the car. but I am worried about not having a full service history. he had told me it was to come with a full service, but when I mentioned it said on the dash that service due in five thousand miles, he just told me was no point in giving full service, as only got it a 5,000 miles ago. I am not happy with that.
know this last one is only a minor thing, but he ties for boot were missing (they would lift the boot flap when open the boot). any place I tried to get them, I was told to try a main dealer. where I was told I really should get the car checked out as a lot of missing bits from the car. car dealer does like to put down English cars. so don't know what to think
where do I stand on this?

In your VLC it will give the UK reg of the car, do a HPI check on it on the likes of cartell.ie or motorcheck.ie to see if the car is a write off or has been clocked.

Are you sure the car you got was the same one you drove first?

Sounds like you have handed money over already. Once that is done they will lose interest in you.

How many secondhand Golfs are for sale in this country at any given time?

And the OP manages to buy one with several obvious issues.

    Impressive stuff.
