    Well guys.

I wanted to connect my iphone to my stereo to play music through.
I the only two connection I see are the head phones and the analog in. It looks similar to the head phone connect. There is a connection on the back but its a coax fm in.

Can I just get a cable with a jack on both ends and connect that way.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Sounds like the analogue in (sometimes also called AUX or LINE) is what you need.So whatever connectors are required for that is what you need.

I though the aux had the two connections on it like the back of a car radio.
Do you think it might work if I got the lead.

AUX and Line are usually regarded to be the same and can have many different types of connectors from RCA Phono (like at the rear of some car stereo units) to 5 Pin DIN with 6mm Jack and 3.5mm jack in the mix there too.

It would be better if you posted the model number of the stereo for a more accurate answer but a 3.5mm jack with Analogue under it would tempt me to try it as an input at Line level.

Post up the model number of the stereo unit.
