Does it matter if grass has been knocked by heavy rain ? does growth/quality suffer? I have grass for haylage that seems to have fallen over pretty badly. its only fertilized 4 weeks so it really has another 2 weeks or so to go.

It will straighten up some bit again in time.. won.t affect quality only when cutting you will leave more behind.. try cutting across the direction of the lodging and not up and down..
