De Care dental vs VHI

    Hi,

    My dental insurance is up for renewal and I am not sure who offers the best value and benifits

    Any advice appriciated

    I'm in the same boat. Both companies are annoying me to go with them, and I don't know enough to make a decision!:confused:

    If anyone has input it would be great !

    Decare would seem to have the better cover and for a lower price.
    Comparing the VHI Dental Plus plan and the Decare Level 3 plan both policies are almost identical except for the major treatment cover.
    VHI cover 50% of root canals and crowns but Decare cover 70%.
    Decare is 40 euro cheaper too ,however I have heard that they are very slow to pay out and quite difficult to deal with .

    I am going staying with De care dental , benefits way better for less cost , with then since 2009 and never had issues with them
