sligo fishing information

    I am looking for information on course fishing in sligo. Could anyone suggest some places were we could fish I was looking at glencar lake but I was worried that you might need a fishing licence.

    If you are coarse fishing in glencar then you don't need a licence. I'm not sure what the standard is like in glencar, might be worth googling templehouse (I think). Its in south Sligo, the lakes and the river in that area seem to get good reports every now and again.

    not much coarse fishing wise to go at in glencar, maybe perch and eels,
    better of heading up ballymote area, plenty of good lakes up that direction.
