Duty charges

    Hi,


    I recently got a fly fishing rod on the internet (2 years ago, from america) and it's broke, and it's under an warranty(i have to pay for the shipping 43 euro)but my question is Would i have to pay duty charges and all that, but i already payed for the duty and import duties when it arrived in ireland..

    Is it being returned to you after repair ? If so, then there should be no charges.

    If it's being replaced by a new one, then you would be liable for the vat/duty etc
