Whether to book Hostels

Basically, I go interrailing for a month August 5th - September 4th from England via the euro star, that's all booked. I've also booked 2 nights in Paris so I don't have to faff around and worry when I get there.

I'm going with my mate, and he's pretty laid back about it all. Would it be best to just book the Hostels now? I know roughly where we're going, but I don't know whether I should book them all in advanced?

Also, I have £1000 to spend on hostels and living, is that enough? Roughly 1,220 euros.

One last thing, any decent night trains I should use? I think our rough plan is paris, brussels, dam, berlin, prague, budapest, vienna, venice, milan, some place in switzerland and then paris and home.

Thanks in advanced for your reply!

Have a look at ibis budget hotels. Since there are 2 of you.... it probably would work out cheaper staying at the ibis budget they are all over europe and very cheap basic hotels.
