    Hello,

    I will be back in Dublin at the end of July and as of yet I have heard noting back from any of the applications I've sent. I think it's time to look for something else in the meantime. From reading other job advertisements I'm not sure what else I could do, I've never really had another job.

    Has anybody else taken another job until they find a teaching job?

    Some teaching related suggestions would include grinds, grinds schools and new subscription websites that provide students with vodcasts and lesson notes. Also consider taking up courses at your local Education Centre.

    I know that living in Dublin you are probably looking for more regular employment outside the teaching sector to cover living costs but I dont have any experience with that.

    Thanks for the reply. I'm a primary teacher so I'm not sure how likely grinds and things would be. I'll need something consistent to cover the €500 plus rent I guess :( . I think it'll be nice for a while though to have a job that finishes when I leave work and I don't have to think or stress or prepare anything for.
