rather then just let my 11 months cocker just get the flush on rabbits i decided to bring the shotgun.as she is dropping the the shot the starting pistol all got a bit much today with the flush so will have to steady her again.by right its a 2 men job.just ran her for 30 mins due to heat and cover this time of year is severe and the nettles are at their worst.but great action all round.only shot what she flushed and what was close to the road[keep the ambushers at bay].great year for rabbits and a god send for getting young dogs going.ps rabbits look a bit flat because i squeeze them clean as soon as they are shot.

best way to get young dogs going in my opinion and your right plenty rabbits around. nice looking cocker and did you shoot all them over her. If you want a dog to run cover cover cover you need rabbits. Well hunting cover not just trained to stay inside.
