Email set up on my Sony Xperia

Here we go again....just got my Sony Xperia back from the Meteor repair depot, fault found etc. Had to download all my apps and so on, all good until I tried to set up my email account. I'm with eircom for email, I put in my user name (email address) then my password, then pop3, then 110, security none, then press next. Up…

Here we go again....just got my Sony Xperia back from the Meteor repair depot, fault found etc.
Had to download all my apps and so on, all good until I tried to set up my email account.
I'm with eircom for email, I put in my user name (email address) then my password, then pop3, then 110, security none, then press next.
Up comes 'could not open conection to server' again and again. I think I've tried all permutations from previous posts...can't understand why I can't get any further...it was OK before.
Any ideas?
