    Hi all,
    My car was clamped yesterday evening while inside the parking where I've parked it for years. I have a permit issued by the agency from whom I rent my apartment.

    The permit indicates year 2010, but the Agency said when they gave it to me it should be fine in regards to clamping companies as they don't renew them each year. However, my car still got clamped. They clamped my previous car twice inside the same parking which I paid then but I can't and don't want to pay this one because it's becoming too often.
    I rang NPCS and they said it's not their problem, the permit is expired they said and I should sort that out with the agency. Well it's not expired technically because I am a resident and can use the parking for free. I only had to pay a deposit 4 years ago to get the permit. I can't call the agency until Monday to see if they can sort anything but I called them once before when I got clamped inside the parking again and they did nothing then. I needed the car fast so I paid then.
    The fee is €120 for the first 24 hours and then increases according to the papers stuck on the car but it doesn't indicate by how much exactly.
    I can't pay the amount today as I don't have it and I wouldn't pay it either as there's no process for appeal prior to payment. One needs to pay first but by paying I am consenting to their terms and I don't want to as I have not parked in there illegally and will be parked in there as long as I live here.

    Any suggestions guys? I am sick of this.

    I'd love another clamp to add to my collection but Limerick is a little too far away.

    Why on earth didn't you do something the last time!

    Guys, to let you know I just went to the car to check what type of lock they used and the clamp was gone. They must have removed it after a threatening phone call as I was calling a solicitor too.

    They ruined my day anyway and got me into reading law all f****g day :)

    @frag420
    I was thinking to unlock the clamp and clamp it on your smug face afterwards. Say thank you to the clamp fairies, you got lucky today.

    Says enough about yourself. You can't avoid repeating the same word twice in a sentence of 5 words, from which one is "fukking", often used by those with limited vocabulary and problem expressing themselves properly.
