Seems to be issues with spoilers been posted in the general MMA forum.

So I thought maybe start a thread where spoilers can be posted safely without other users getting events spoiled

Hopefully this thread takes off and goes without saying if you not seen a event..... You enter at own risk

Nice win for Marquardt today, the middleweight division is really getting crowded near the top.

I cant say I am too excited about tonight's event though, beyond the main event.

A good idea to keep this thread for those events that dont really warrant a thread of their own. Hate coming to the forum and seeing there's no thread for a relatively small event.

It was a really good event. Some nice finishes and even some of the fights that went the distance was damn entertaining with the exception of the Soa Palelei fight. First fight was thoroughly deserving of fight of the night. Kind of gutter for Te Huna. Seems like he was pushed that little bit too much/too soon to be kind of a figure head for the expansion into Australia and New Zealand.

In fairness, did you have much hope for the event this morning? Probably not and look how that turned out.

Didn't see the fights last night but just read the results.

Colton Smith getting cut?? Or is he still under contract??

It was a great card IMO, especially the pre-lims. Colton Smith deserves to be cut he hasn't enough skills to be a UFC fighter, considering he only has 7 fights his striking and BJJ are extremely sub par.

Cub Swanson Jeremy Stephens - great fight, 25 minutes of 2 brilliant fighters/strikers going toe to toe in a chess match. 49-46 was a bit unfair i think though.

Poor old Johny Bedford got screwed, that is 2 fights in a row he has been on the receiving end of harsh ref decisions.

Bedford stoppage was possibly the worst stoppage I've seen.

The ref jumped the gun and stepped in, realised he had ballsed up and backed out again, then realised he had committed and had to step in again. If he had stayed out and Bedford gone on to win then Gibson would have complained that the ref had intervened and stopped him from finishing the job.

Swanson vs Stephens was a fantastic fight.

Bedford done well not to punch push the ref! Jeremy Stephens really added to his reputation in that fight, i can't wait to see him face off vs the rest of the top 10. 145 needs Siver and Korean zombie back fighting, so many exciting potential match ups.
