Buying online enquiry cheaper than paying at station?

    Hi,
    single from Athenry to Houston this Sunday is €23 online. Is the price the same if I pay at the station on the day?
    II tried phoning CIE but no answer nd website doesn't tell me...

    Single from the ticket office is €31.50 and day return is €33. If buying a day return now or close to the day of travel you are better off buying in the station as you are not restricted in what train you get back on the day but with online bookings you must get the train specified on your ticket or pay a surcharge to change the ticket.
