Good place to buy towels, bedsheets, etc. in bulk

Hi all, I'm helping a relative kit out a B & B in Dublin this weekend and we need to buy several (7 - 8) bath towels, hand towels, 4 x double bedsheets, 4 x duvets and duvet covers, 2 double mattress protectors, etc. We may also need 2 double beds and mattresses.

I'm wondering if there are any sales on this weekend in Dublin, or maybe there's a wholesaler we could get this amount of stuff from? Is Penneys / Guineys stuff good quality these days? If anyone has any ideas or knows where to get good quality stuff at decent prices then I'd very much appreciate it.

Arnotts have got a sale on at the moment and they normally have good discounts on linen.

For example, these bath towels are reduced from 30euro to 10euro

Otherwise, I'd try Debenhams who also have a sale on or Dunnes. I'd avoid the likes of Pennys. With a B&B, the stuff is going to be washed frequently and while it might be cheaper now, it won't be in the long run.

For Beds and mattresses, it's probably worth contacting Big Mickeys. They are based in Longford but deliver everywhere. For the love of god though, from someone who has stayed in a lot of B & B's try not to skimp too much on the mattress. Lay on it and decide if you would sleep on it or not. If you wouldn't, don't buy it.

www.bigmickey.ie can kit you out with all your requirements. It's like a one stop shop for everything you need and also as mel.b said, don't skimp on the mattresses. Big mickey sells ex display, new and also some types of seconds. Well worth a call. There are a few major threads in the bargain alerts section about bigmickey.ie if you want to check them out. I know a B+B up beside Dublin Airport that they kitted out with everything from big mickey. Hope this helps.
