    Hello lads & ladies,
I've been reading all the threads in relations too how prices are way back in factories & marts etc.

    I've a 30 month old bullock & 5 x 2 year old bullocks (all limos).

Just wondering should I get them sold?

Is there a specific age where factories/marts wont accept cattle/go down in price?

I've read in the beef thread that there is the odd farmer that keeps some cattle till 4 yrs old...I though if i held on this long they would be too old and factor/marts wouldnt be as interested?

P.s im not feeding any meal just grass all the way and im not under pressure with grass shortage at all due too not being over stocked...

    Thanks,
    westlander

Do not keep your cattle until they are 4!!!

IMO the next couple of weeks prices are going to drop more and MAYBE after that they will climb!

Factories don't really want cattle over 30 months and will cut your price
