separation and divorce rights of spouses

    If a couple are separating (acrimoniously) and one of them has held the licence to a mobile home site (the other never having signed anything to do with the licence) which neither have been able to pay the fees on for the last two years (they have been paid by a third party on behalf of one of the couple - the one whose name is on the licence) does the other person in the couple have any rights to the licence? Or would it be better if the third party took over the licence? Thanks for any advice.
