Can you do a 1 year plc course and still receive your rent supplement?? I desperately want to do a childcare one but need to keep my rent supplement :-(
    Anyone any advice?

AFAIK if you qualify for btea then you get to keep some secondary sw payments including rent allowance but it would be subject to recalculation.

If you get the grant from susi tho you lose certain sw payments

I won't be entitled to the btea as I work part time and I'm not on any Sw payment so I'm at a loss as wat to do

Susi might be your best option tho but you would prob lose ra.
