No RF out on new SkyHD box?

I recently got a new SkyHD box installed and it does not have an RF out port on it which is a problem as I wanted to use the Magic Eye. I only use the magic eye to control the remote control as I actually use a HDMI splitter and HDMI over CAT5 baluns so I can have the HD picture in the second room also.

I ordered one of these off ebay but it is not working right

The remote control signal is not getting through to the box properly and only some of the buttons functionality seem to get through and work. Also there is a delay where if I press play, pause etc. it can take a few seconds for the box to recognise it, if at all.

I got a new SkyHD box as I took out a new half price subscription and then cancelled my old sub. The old SkyHD box with built-in RF worked a charm with the Magic eye and pressing the remote in the room 15 metres away was the same as if I was standing in-front of the Sky box in the living room.

Is it likely I just got a faulty RF modulator or is this a more common problem with the new SkyHD boxes and these IO modulators.

I've used plenty of I/O links and had no problems, however all were much more expensive than the one you have shown...is it going to just one room or is it split using an amp to a secondry room, as if it is then u will need an i/o link that can add a power supply to it such as the triax one as the power from the i/o is only strong enough to connect directly to one room only.
