How hard can it be?

I took an interest in a classic/vintage car on DD, which first appeared around mid June, or beforehand. So, I gave a ring, got voicemail and left a message etc. After a day or two with no response, I rang again, got voicemail again and did so again for the next couple of calls.

Then I sent an email, with details etc. and still no response. Today I see the car is still for sale, at a reduced price, for "quick sale" and due to "messers", so I rang again, voicemail again!

Then I looked at the advertisers other ads and there are 4, each with a different phone number! The initial ad has had over 1,600 views.

    Any thoughts?

There's always another car and that sounds like too much hard work already.

Sure you might as well stick up a link to the Ad and somebody here might get a response.:)

Well,I thought I'd give this car one last punt. Rang again and sent another email. Last night I got an answer to my email from the seller, saying that he'd ring me this morning. It's now 8.30pm and no phone call, so that's one car that I won't be buying. The irony is that the advertiser has the car re-advertised due to "messers".
    I give up!

    Tossers like that are everywhere!

I went to buy a car a few weeks ago that had no engine. Wanted it as a donor for my own car. Seller said he lived in Dublin and car was in Kildare and he would be in Kildare that weekend (his mothers house). I said I would view and most likely take on that weekend. Called and called and called but no reply. Left him an email complaining that I had cleared half my day to go see the car and he never bothered his hole answering. He wrote back with a "world doesn't revolve around you" attitude. I contacted DD and ad was removed by them an hour later. Tosser!

The messers are more often the seller themselves.
