Downgrade Sky package - how much notice?

    Hope this is the right forum for this question.

    Next Sky bill due July 16th. I want to downgrade to a cheaper package.

    How much time do I have to give Sky? When would I have to ring them - could I do it a day before my next bill?

    You have to give them 31 days notice. The billing date doesnt really come into it. If you give them the notice on the actual billing date all that means is that your bill will just show the reductions in full on the next bill. Downgrading between billing dates will only mean that your next bill will show X number of days usage of whatever package you're removing.
