ssd issue

Hey guys, this is my first time messing around with this kind of stuff so go easy!

So I added a 240gb crucial ssd to the optical bay of my inspiron 5110, following the 'how to geek guide' used Easeus partition master to clone the original drive and now my laptop is still booting into the original os drive c:/

In the BIOS it shows both drives in the main screen but doesn't seem to show the SSD as an option for bootup. I've read some forums and some have suggested booting from the optical drive bay won't work, something to do with the connection so I could maybe swap the drives (not an easy task apparently with the position of the motherboard) and also have read some suggestions of the windows boot loader -partition being missing on the cloned drives but there was three partitions on my main disk and I copied all three to the ssd.

If you cloned the original drive and left it in there with the new ssd then there will be a conflict. Have you tried removing or disconnecting the original drive and booting from ssd only?

Not yet, I'll try that. Can it be done through BIOS or do I have to physically remove it?
If so I suppose I might as well put the ssd in the main slot and the original hdd in the optical bay.
