    Urban,

Thanks for the post and apologies that you are having an issue - unless you had a previous issue I'd be pretty close to 100% saying that the issue is the new 10mtr interconnect and I'd guess that its not a well screened cable - this means that its prone to RF interference - your options are to get a decent screened cable - which if you need a 10Mtr length could be a little expensive for a decent cable - we do a decent Cambridge Audio 7.5Mtr cable at £29.95 http://www.richersounds.com/product/hi-fi-interconnects/cambridge-audio/aud500-7.5m/camb-aud500-7.5m this is a decent well screened cable and it should solve your issue.

The other alternatives aren't so easy!, you could move your Sub slightly and this may help, sometimes even turning it around so the orientation is different can help - finally and the first thing to try is to see if you can re-route or see if you can 're-lay' the 10mtr cable so that its less prone to interference...

    Keep us posted whatever happens,

Cheers I guessed it was the cable,
going to try moving it slightly first and see what happens.
if not I'll go with the cable.
considering getting another of the sfx subs.
how much are they delivered to kildare?
    thanks

The SFX subwoofer is £99.95 and delivery would be £12.99.

Just my 2p's worth, that I also reckon it is the cable. Subs are very prone to picking up interference on the cables.
