ok so sorry if this is in the wrong area ,

i am contracted from one agency to work in another company , i put my payment invoices to the agency who then invoice the company i am working for .

i started doing some miles and filled out the expenses its 20 cent per kilometer but i found out everyone else charge 50 cent per kilometer , i and invoiceing the agency @20 cent per km and im asumeing he is invoicing the company for 50 cent per km , since this is my own car and my own petrol is this legal ? as technically he is stealing that 30 cent difference from my own pocket ,

this is the way i see it , any help or advice please ,

    thanks

In order to offer an opinion here, you will need to be more specific and provide more information. For instance, what is the nature of your contract with the agency and what are the terms and conditions? Loose terms such as 'everyone else' charges 50 cent / km - does this 'everyone else' refer to people who are contracted out by the same agency etc. etc.?

It depends on what you agreed with the agency. If you agreed 20c per KM then that is what you charge.

You may be able to justify/negotiate a better deal. There are limits to what can be repaid tax free - google civil service mileage rates.

It's up to you to negotiate a better deal with the agency. Using terms like stealing is not going to help.
