Stain in speaker grill

Something was spilled a long time ago (not sure what) that left this unsightly stain on the speaker grill in the passenger side door. Looks like it will be relatively tricky to try and clean. I'm guessing I'll have to remove it from the door itself to clean it properly.

Anyone have experience with removing a stain like this?

A diluted All Purpose cleaner to dampen a cloth, give it a bit of a scrub. Make sure the cloth isnt soaking so that when you put pressure on it the liquid will squeeze out. Failing that, the dampened area might need a bit of a scrub with a medium bristled brush and wiped clean with a cloth.

Removal if possible would be easier obviously as there'd be no risk in getting the grille wet.

Had a similar issue. APC and a brush did the job but my staining didnt look that bad. That looks like a milk stain
