I was looking for advice. I don't have my own boards account so using a friends.

I slept with a guy at the beginning of June. I know he ejaculated into the condom and it did not split etc. I am now a week late with only a little discharge last week. Is it possible I'm pregnant?

Do a test. Its the only way to know for sure. Clearblue and First Response are the best on the market.

Pregnancy test as mentioned above, and confirm with your GP. For the peace of mind of knowing for sure, it will be worth it.

As Neyite said only a test can tell you. From experience clearblue have been great for me.

Now would also be the time to do a test that would have a highly more accurate result.

Also recommend clear blue and a visit to the doc. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet either, you could be late for a number of reasons.

Not much point in visiting the doc. The over the counter pregnancy tests are more than adequate these days. Doc won't do any better tests.

And in some cases they dont even do their own tests, because the OTC ones are much more sensitive so usually take your word for it. Its really just for them to book you in for ante-natal care and review any existing meds/ medical conditions during a pregnancy.

You are a week late OP. That means if you test with the first morning urine, you'll know for sure. These tests can give an accurate result as early as 6 days before your period is due.

In my experience, stressing about it further delays it. Among my circle of friends in our twenties, invariably your period would soon follow on the heels of testing. If you do test negative, and your period still does not arrive, see a GP. There are some reasons why periods would stop that is not pregnancy- related that would need to be treated.

My period used to be very very regular and then all of a sudden it was 10 days late. I was so panicked, took 3 pregnancy tests, all negative. My periods then became irregular, late/early, all over the place because of a hormone problem.

    Definitely don't stress about it!!

Well, leave it a few days and do another one first thing in the morning if your period doesn't arrive. I know it's an awfully stressful time though, you will be fully consumed with the worry but either way there is lots of help out there for you.

And keep a spare for future use in case you are worried about it again :)
