    Hi,

I recently saw a lecturing position advertised. It stated that it is a "Pro Rata Contract". What exactly does this mean? Are holidays paid? How many hours per week would you get? Are you even guaranteed hours every week?

    Thanks!

in secondary, PRC would mean you have a certain number of hours per week and you get paid the fraction of full time pay those hours suggest. However jobs are frequently misadvertised so ask the question to the office

Thanks. Sorry, should have mentioned that it's for 3rd level in an IT. I presume it would be the same situation though.
