    Hi,
I've a friend who has dual citizenship, US and Irish.

Its illegal as a US citizen to enter Cuba but does anyone know about travelling there on their Irish one and the possible/probable consequences after?
    Thanks

I don't think it's illegal for a US citizen to enter Cuba. I believe it's just illegal for them to enter from the US. Most Americans go via Mexico or Canada. (open to correction)

My sister in law is American and travels on her US passport, she went to Cuba (via Mexico) a few years back and had no issues when she went back t the US.

No issues with Irish passports going to Cuba though, but you might need a visa.

    Travel on the Irish passport.

No visa issued though you do need a travel card.

This is a separate card that never enters the passport but gets stamped upon arrival and while exiting Cuba.

Nobody in the US will be any the wiser.
