Grand Vitara overheating

1.6 grand vitara is cutting out when hot in traffic, i dont know if its fuel starv, failing water pump or what is causing it. Its had a new rad and flush and still not any better and im not getting a ckeck warning light. How would i establish whats causing it? Ps.. goldy colour porsche jeep southbound on m50 this…

What makes you say it's overheating if it cuts out in traffic? Does temp go up?
