Had a look at some of ebay etc but I'm a bit hesitant due to the high number of fakes found on it.

I'm looking to get the Diamana Kai'li stock stiff shaft as I hit it before and liked it.

    For anyone interested in shafts,

Picked up a 910 D2 lately, its more forgiving for me than my old Xhot Pro.

It currently has a Kuro Kage 60 S out of, I think, a Bio Cell Pro driver. The problem I have with it is for me it feels a bit wippy and its 1" longer than I'm used to. Not really into shafts so not sure if the wippy'ness is from the extra length or not.

Tried a Pro Launch red for a round and found it decent but a little to stiff for me on the first few tee boxes.

SS 105mph, temp can be seen in the my swing video thread

Have you tried the Aldila RIP at all ?
Very stable and is low spin too IMO

I have the Aldila RIP in my Cobra 19° but never hit it in a driver.

I did have the RIP'D NV in the i20 but paired with the low spin head I found I had to give it my all to get a nice flight, maybe with a slightly higher spinning head it could get up a bit

I had it in an R9 Supertri but still was too high spin due to the head. Now have it in a 910 D3 and it is a great combo so slightly more spin off the D2 might work perfect for you.

Ha, I sold my R9 460 because I couldn't get the spin down on average drives.

Thanks, I'll see if I can spot one I can try.

Hi Dan_ep82 I am currently selling a shaft Aldila extra stiff with a Taylor Made attachment but I think you could get a pro-shop to fit the Titleist attachment for it. Its in the Golf stiff for sale swap on this forum. I bought a shaft from adverts off a guy in Dublin very happy with it hitting it better than the shaft i'm selling. I felt a bit dubious about e-bay too. PM me if your interested in the shaft once you can get attachment to fit your club.

Not really into shafts Dan? You are :)

Half of that is gibberish for me. When I started out I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't get into shafts etc.
Mainly because I knew it would cost me a fortune (I'm the all or nothing type) but I also made a commitment to really focusing on the swing ahead of everything.

You've got a very athletic swing and I'm no expert but there are definitely a few things that a pro would change. A great base to work from though. But if anything I'd say you might have a slower swing speed after working with a pro.

Your swing is a bit like mine was when starting out and mine has definitely slowed down a bit as a result of lessons and what I'd like to think is a much more controlled swing.

So if you're thinking about lessons, would you not wait until you see what the pro says?
That shaft might be the shaft for a SS of 105 but should you be swinging that fast would be my approach.

That all said.... I was offered to use a launch monitor yesterday and I can't wait to try it out soon.
So my knowledge may involved more than stiff or regular soon :)

    Hey,
Looking to get a shaft I can just swap without needed to re tip it. I had a covert in a KK X-Stiff before, good for me once I was warmed up but really hard to get good swing going in the morning.

Not compared to some of the guys I see on GOLFWRX etc, I'd be considered the uneducated spud lol

Theres definitely problems, a lot of them I can see myself( ball position, takeaway, not staying behind the ball, ott etc) but I know there is probably more wrong. The problem is I have slowed down, the swings above are around 70-80% of effort, any less and I have bigger problems.

I've a lesson next week, I'm hoping he can find the root of the problems so I can eliminate most of the errors. It would be great to find that my takeaway etc is bringing me off plane, fix the takeaway and get a better path etc
