No Satellite Signal

For the last while I have been using a Sky HD box to transmit the basic free to air channels.

For the last two days I am now getting a message "no satellite signal being received"

Ive tried disconnecting everything, turning off etc multiple times with no luck. Would this soley be down to something gone wrong with the dish?

Ive only recently moved into the house and the dish does look fairly rusted. I had no issues up until the last two days. And the weather has been grand!

Anything else to try before I have to get someone to look at it and probably charge through the nose?

What would I be looking at to buy a new dish? Im only renting so woudnt fancy shelling out for a new dish that is stuck to the house!

Dish moved, cabling, who knows. Rusted dish you say, maybe the LNB arm has rusted at its base and moved.
New dishes cheap enough on ebay, do you know how to align one?

Most sat installers charge a fair rate, not through the nose as you put it.

I find this guy one of the cheapest for dishes:

Otherwise I suggest adverts.ie - I think a Sky dish is less than €30 there
