payroll told me i was issued a new tax cert. paid nearly 1 k less??

i noticed i got a lot less than normal and payroll told me revenue issues me with a new tax cert. i have no idea how this works. can anyone explain what this means?

prob best to ring revenue as any number of things could have happened - key in your pps number bottom right on Revenue.ie and it'll give you the contact details.

are you married - were you claiming any of your wifes credits? did you do a tax return for a prior year and owe money -- could be anything
