jobseeker benefit after leaving job

Hi all,
here is my situation :
been working 8 years in cork, traveling for 1 year, working on studies for 8 months, had jobseeker benefit for 1 month, then back to work since may.
I'm not satisfied by my current work, and thinking about quitting. I would like to finish some studies, then find another job.
Is it possible for me to apply again for jobseeker benefit even I left the current job ?

You can be disqualified from Jobseekers for up to 9 weeks if you leave your job without good reason. What is 'good reason' is up to the deciding officer

I want to quit my current job then work on getting 1 professional certification then look for a job. Do you think social welfare can help me financially achieving both objectives ?

The back to education scheme might be what you want, but I'm not sure if you would be eligible if you quit your job, others here will know better.
