Get the bus up or a lift and inspect the car before you buy and drive home, perfectly legal once you insure it and then book a vrt date with NCT . Northern crowd would deliver after payment also if you don't want to travel. A link to the car and seller might help us help you on price etc, do a history check on the car too yourself before paying .

OK thanks for your reply. I have a garage lined up to look at the car for me but with kids and work its not possible to collect car In person so that's why I was looking to have it delivered. I can't link for some reason but its a 2004 daihatsu copan

Have you driven that model before, it seems madness not to inspect and test drive it yourself before purchase. It would be an expensive mistake if you don't like it.

Copans suffer from from serious terminal rust and corrosion around the rear wheel suspension mounts and sills, get it well checked out. A good few have appeared on donedeal as NCT failures! not an easy fix and as I said often terminal as in send to scrap yard . Be careful

make sure you get a dated receipt and the V5(NI)

The car is on UK plates and not NI plates. Would this affect it when being VRT'd?

nope....it's the V5C you need in that case.
