    Hi Guys,

Looking for potential post grad housemates for the next academic year, Sept 14'. I have been finding it hard to find a house so far, most places want groups rather than individuals. Currently looking for accommodation in walking distance of UL. Any information as to where the best places for Postgrads to live would be greatly appreciated. Also anyone else doing the Human Resource management Masters?

    Thanks,

    Jessica

    Hey guys,
If you're looking for a nice quiet spot about 15 mins walk from the college I'd recommend you stay on the east side of the college, an estate/area called brierfield. Quiet and mostly family/older college residents. I stayed there last year for my final year and may be staying there again for my masters. If so, I will put up a notification looking to fill maybe 2 rooms.

Hey, I'd be interested in renting a house with a few others too if anyone is still looking. I'm a 25 year old girl from Galway and starting into the second year of a phd in psychology.

Last year I stayed in Briarfield (The Cedars), and though it was handy for getting to UL, the house was absolutely freezing and impossible to heat. I know a few others that have had similar problems as a lot of the houses around this area are that bit older, so would preferably like to avoid this area. Places around Cois Ghruda/ Bru na Grudan are supposed to be quite nice, or Woodhaven beside Briarfield. Not too fussy when it comes to anything else, but not having to sleep under three duvets would definitely be a bonus!

    Hi Dutch,

    Thanks for the tip.

Can you PM me your email address so I'll send links on daft.ie so we can decide what to go for.

Jessica can you do the same if you're interested and I'll get irishlad from UL accommodation thread to do the same.
    Ty

Hi. Im not to sure if you are still looking but I will be doing a masters in UL this September and in need of a place to stay. I have no idea where to look or get a place as an individual. If any of you guys know of a room going or how I should go about finding a place any info would be appreciated.

Hey folks. Myself a friend are looking for a 3rd person to move into a house in Castletroy. Single room, €250 per month. Really nice clean house. We're both male, mature students in UL. One is a smoker but we've previsions in place as I can't handle it too much. My girlfriend will be living there too and all bills will be split between the 3/4 of us that will be there at the time. Let me know if you're interested.
