Asparagus Transplanting

I planted asparagus about two months ago in the conservatory. I thought I was being smart giving the seeds a jump start in the heat. They sprouted up okay but are now starting to collapse sideways (they are about 15cm long). Is this normal? Should I transplant them outside and if so how?
